Model Screensavers

A screensaver is a type of program designed to display changing images or dims of brightness of a display screen that can protect the monitor from having an imaged stamped onto its surface. Over the years, the purpose of a screensaver has evolved to just being a protection against phosphor burn-in.

Today, a screensaver is used primarily as a security measure to prevent the access of someone else’s computer. However, this is not just one of the functions of a screensaver. A screensaver can now also serve as an advertising tool and during the past years more companies are now realizing this potential of a screensaver.

One of the main kinds of screensaver that has seen this benefit is the model screensaver. Over the years, more and more photographers, modeling agencies and the like are realizing the potential of advertisement through screensavers. These companies have noticed the growing number of people who download these images as part of their list of options for screensavers. Thus, some agencies have now started cataloguing their prints and ad campaigns through a screensaver.

Unlike the previous connotation of a model screensaver, these types of screensavers have now gone to a tasteful ad campaign or spread. Aside from just a specific image of a swimsuit model or supermodel, brands or event dates accompany these images. Often times, even the name of the supermodel is placed on the image.

Model screensavers are probably the most downloaded type of screensavers by males. However, model screensavers are not just for guys anymore. Nowadays, model screensavers are now spreading towards the opposite gender and some companies have taken notice of this growing number as well.

Women have also gained interest in model screensavers not just because of the images it displays but because of the specific fashion piece that the image represents.
